Baltentra Legal co-founder Vladimiras Kokorevas joins a 3 September panel on MiCA after grandfathering, comparing CASP authorisation and supervision in Lithuania, Poland and Germany.

We are pleased to announce that on 3 September 2026, Baltentra Legal co-founder and partner Vladimiras Kokorevas will join a panel discussion on what the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) looks like in practice after the grandfathering period.

MiCA introduced a common EU regulatory framework for crypto-asset services. In practice, however, crypto-asset service providers continue to face differences between Member States in areas such as authorisation timelines, supervisory expectations and market conditions.

One framework, different realities

The webinar will compare the experience in Lithuania, Poland and Germany and examine what these differences mean for licensing strategy, business planning and access to the European market.

The discussion will address, among other topics:

  • CASP authorisation and licensing strategy;
  • differences in supervisory expectations between jurisdictions;
  • post-grandfathering regulatory planning;
  • market-entry considerations; and
  • access to the wider European market under MiCA.

Panel

Vladimiras will be joined by:

  • Marcus Mølleskov from Januar;
  • Johannes Wirtz, LL.M. (London) from Bird & Bird; and
  • Katarzyna Szczudlik, FIP, LL.M. from Schoenherr Attorneys at Law.
